As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading high-impact, enterprise-level information security projects for customers in a broad range of industry verticals. The goal of these projects may include the implementation of multiple technologies and/or the development of data security programs, and they frequently involve multi-disciplinary teams and organization domains. Additionally, these projects are often part of a larger portfolio with related priorities and objectives, so experience working in complex environments with overlapping initiatives and programmatic goals is a must.

This position is for a seasoned project management professional capable of working independently with minimal guidance and utilizing established project management methodologies, processes, and toolsets. You will be expected to provide oversight to lower-level tasks and report on progress and status to senior leadership.

As a Project Manager, your primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Building project plans based on project and/or program goals and objectives, with project schedules, communication and quality assurance plans inclusive
  • Leading the execution of projects and/or a portfolio of projects based on identified organizational goals and strategies
  • Reporting on project and/or program status, as well as serving as the “face” of a project or program to senior leadership
  • Providing advice on project costs, design concepts, or design changes
  • Participating in reviews or audits of IT or cyber security programs or projects
  • Setting – and re-setting, as needed – expectations with customers around project or program delivery
  • Ensuring that appropriate Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and contract requirements are clearly set out for the customer and monitoring service delivery to ensure compliance
  • Gathering feedback on customer satisfaction and service performance
  • Reviewing service performance reports, identifying any significant issues and variances, and initiating, where necessary, corrective actions to ensure that all outstanding issues are followed up on

Salary Range (based on experience) $90,000-$120,000/year

What We’re Looking For:

Required education and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of project management experience or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience

Preferred education and experience

  • Project Management Professional (PMP), PMI-ACP, DASM, and/or CSM certification a plus
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or other professional cyber security or information technology certification a plus

  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Ability to motivate groups of people to complete a project in a timely manner
